What does offers mean?
An offer to provide this item—for example, an offer to sell a product, rent the DVD of a movie, perform a service, or give away tickets to an event. Use [[businessFunction]] to indicate the kind of transaction offered, i.e. sell, lease, etc. This property can also be used to describe a [[Demand]]. While this property is listed as expected on a number of common types, it can be used in others. In that case, using a second type, such as Product or a subtype of Product, can clarify the nature of the offer.

How to use offers correctly
Links a product, service or other offerable item to an Offer or related offer entity.
Common mistake to avoid
An offer must represent genuine sale or availability terms. Do not infer prices, stock or sellers from an example.
Applied example and verification
A product page may have an offer from a seller, multiple offers or no purchase offer at all. The offers property describes those commercial terms; it is not a generic signal that the page is about shopping. If the publisher has no verified seller, price or availability data, avoid constructing a plausible-looking Offer object from sample values. When several variants or merchants are present, check which offer belongs to which product. A link to an offer page should lead to the relevant item rather than an unrelated homepage. The example here shows only the shape of an Offer relationship and intentionally omits commercial facts. Before deployment, a reviewer should compare every supplied term with the current merchant information.
