Your data, Google advertising & privacy choices

Privacy policy

Privacy policy for local structured-data checks, file uploads, hosting logs, support requests, Google AdSense Auto Ads, cookies and consent options.

Last updated: 31 October 2026. Schema Support Checker is an independent website maintained by Imran Saeed. For privacy questions contact [email protected]. This policy describes the public-site configuration. Actual hosting, contact and advertising providers must be verified against the deployed service.

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how the site handles structured-data input, files, basic technical requests, support communications, third-party links and Google advertising. It also explains cookie choices and how to request help with your personal data. The checker is free to use without creating an account or buying a subscription.

2. Pasted code, uploaded files and ZIP batches

When you paste JSON-LD or HTML, select JSON, JSON-LD, HTML or ZIP files, run checks, preview corrections or download reports, the current checker performs those operations in your own browser. The contents of your files, pasted markup, corrections and reports are not sent to a Schema Support Checker validation API. The uploaded HTML is read as data rather than executed as a website. Downloads are saved on your device under your browser's download settings.

Optional shared summary links: If you click Copy summary link, the checker encodes only counts and generic issue codes into a URL fragment. It does not include pasted markup, uploaded files, filenames, field values or detailed diagnostic messages. Anyone you send that link to can see the read-only summary. The fragment is handled by the receiving browser and is not submitted to our checker server, but it can be saved in your browser history or the messaging app where you paste it. Normal website and advertising requests remain separate. A shared snapshot is not a fresh validation.

Normal visits to the site still involve requests for its HTML, JavaScript, CSS, images and static rule data. Do not confuse local file processing with the absence of ordinary website network requests. Please do not send confidential passwords, private keys or other secrets through the support contact form.

3. Information from ordinary website visits

Our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, browser or device information, requested URLs, timestamps, referrers and error or security logs as needed to deliver and protect the site. Retention depends on the provider and final hosting configuration; we do not claim a specific deletion period until that is verified. No account or daily-quota profile is needed to use the checker. We do not currently include a separate third-party analytics tag in this project.

4. Support requests and contact details

If you choose to contact us, you may provide your name, email address, issue description and optional website URL. We use this information to respond, investigate bugs and maintain the service. When enabled, the secure form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-spam verification and Resend to send your report to our support inbox. If the service is unavailable, the separate Email support directly link lets you choose to open your email application; the Send message button never opens it automatically. Contact [email protected] to ask about a message you have sent or request deletion where applicable. Some records may need to be kept for legal or security purposes.

5. Google AdSense Auto Ads and advertising partners

The public version is intended to use Google AdSense Auto Ads under publisher account ca-pub-5805712328257441. Auto Ads can automatically choose ad placements; we do not use a fake or permanently reserved “Advertisement” card in our article layout. Showing a privacy disclosure does not mean an ad will appear on every visit. Actual ad delivery depends on Google, account and domain approval, user choices, ad availability and site configuration. Ad delivery and consent must be verified on the public domain.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's earlier visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. Where other third-party ad networks or vendors are enabled in the AdSense account, they may also place or read cookies, use device identifiers or similar technologies, and process IP addresses, page information, interactions and other data for ad delivery, personalization, measurement, fraud prevention and security. Their own policies apply. Ad placement and payments do not influence schema checker results or editorial recommendations.

6. Your ad choices and opt-outs

You can opt out of Google's personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center / Ads Settings. You may also visit YourAdChoices for participating third-party vendors and review how Google uses information from partner sites. These controls may not stop all ads, and some advertising may remain non-personalized or contextual. Your browser also provides cookie controls; blocking cookies may affect site or third-party features.

For visitors who have received a Google consent message, the Privacy and cookie settings control can reopen that message when Google's consent API is available. If the control does not open a message (for example, before Google approval or outside a relevant region), use the Google ad-choice links above or contact us. A privacy policy alone is not a consent management platform.

7. EEA, UK and Switzerland consent

Where required, Google AdSense publishers must provide appropriate disclosures and obtain legally required consent. For personalized ads in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The site owner must configure Google's Privacy & messaging CMP (or another Google-certified CMP) for the approved public domain before launch. The consent message must give appropriate choices, respect refusals and allow users to change or revoke consent. The production code includes the Auto Ads tag, but a tag and this policy alone do not establish that consent is correctly configured. See Google's certified CMP requirements, CMP setup guidance and the Google EU User Consent Policy.

8. US state privacy choices

Visitors in jurisdictions with applicable privacy rights may have the ability to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. Where required, the approved public site must enable the relevant US-state privacy message or opt-out mechanism through AdSense Privacy & messaging or a suitable CMP. You can also contact us at [email protected] about your choices. We will not describe a particular state opt-out signal as active until it has been configured and tested on the public domain.

8A. European Union, EEA, UK and Switzerland: transparency and rights

Depending on applicable GDPR, UK GDPR and local laws, you may have rights to request access, correction, erasure, portability or restriction, to object to certain processing and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to the appropriate supervisory authority. Consent and other applicable legal bases depend on the specific purpose and provider. For website delivery, technical security and requested support responses, necessary processing may rely on legitimate interests or performance of a requested service where applicable; advertising personalization and non-essential storage require appropriate consent where the law requires it. The site's Google-certified CMP must explain the advertising vendors and purposes, present real choices and retain signals as required. This page is not itself a consent banner.

Providers may process data in countries outside your jurisdiction. Where applicable, transfers require an appropriate legal mechanism and provider safeguards. The site owner must verify the actual hosting, CMP and ad-vendor arrangements before publication.

8B. United States: state privacy notices and requests

Residents of applicable US states, including California and other states with privacy legislation, may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and obtain copies of certain personal data, and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising as defined by their state law. Some states provide rights concerning sensitive data and profiling, and rights to appeal a refused privacy request. To exercise rights, contact [email protected]; we may verify the request and respond as required by applicable law. Authorized agents may be able to submit requests where permitted. The public AdSense account must configure the relevant US state regulations messages and a visible Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information opt-out link where required. Global Privacy Control or other browser signals must be assessed and handled according to applicable law and the chosen CMP; this project does not claim to process those signals automatically.

Google's advertising partners may use identifiers and browsing activity for personalized advertising or measurement; whether a specific practice constitutes a sale, sharing or targeted advertising depends on law and configuration. Users can review Google My Ad Center, but that is not a substitute for any legally required website-level opt-out.

8C. Search engines and AI crawlers

Public educational pages, guides and Schema.org reference material may be accessed by search engines, AI discovery systems and AI model-training crawlers if their operators follow the public robots.txt rules. We allow public crawling in production. We do not intentionally publish pasted markup, uploaded files or downloaded reports as public pages, and those remain processed locally in the browser. Crawlers and their operators have separate policies; allowing access is not a promise of indexing, AI training, citations or search ranking.

9. Third-party websites, external resources and social sharing

Links to Google Search Central, Schema.org, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, QBMFX websites and other resources lead to independent services. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them. Sharing buttons open the selected platform only when you click them. We do not automatically transmit pasted schema or uploaded files to those platforms.

10. Retention, security and your rights

Checker data is handled locally in the current implementation and is not retained in a checker database. We take reasonable steps to keep website resources secure, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we control, or object to certain processing. Email [email protected] with enough information to identify the request without sending sensitive documents unnecessarily. We may need to verify the request before acting. Hosting, email and advertising providers may have their own data-retention practices and rights-request procedures.

11. Children and changes to this policy

The checker is designed for general website owners and developers, not specifically for children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data through user accounts, because the checker has no accounts. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, contact us. We may update this policy when site features, vendors, legal requirements or advertising settings change, and will update the date shown above.

12. Official privacy and advertising references

Launch review: Confirm actual domain approval, vendor list, Google CMP and US state settings, hosting and contact providers, retention periods and local legal requirements before public release. This policy is an implementation draft, not a legal compliance certification.
