This page documents changes to Schema Support Checker. Features and reference information are independently maintained; results are not an official Google or Schema.org certification. Version numbers describe the software, not a promise of search ranking or a published deployment.
2 November 2026 — Site-content-only XML sitemap (V1.3.55 maintenance)
Refined the production sitemap to include only the 62 published Schema Support Checker site pages: homepage, guides, articles, tools, and supporting pages. All Schema Explorer URLs are omitted from the XML sitemap and sitemap index, without removing or changing those reference pages. The 52 published RSS items retain their canonical links, each also present in the sitemap. The existing SEO canonical, robots, ads.txt and llms files are preserved. This source change does not itself deploy the website or update Google Search Console.
2 November 2026 — Search Console production-build safeguard (V1.3.55 maintenance)
Added an explicit Cloudflare Pages production build command that sets the correct HTTPS site URL before generating sitemaps, canonical tags and RSS links. Cloudflare builds with missing or incorrect production settings now fail before generating public files, preventing accidental deployment of development-domain sitemap links and a blocking robots.txt. Added verification tests and updated Cloudflare launch instructions. The current production sitemap lists 62 SSC-owned pages; 79 HTML routes are indexable overall, and thin reference pages remain noindex. This source-only maintenance change did not push to GitHub, deploy to Cloudflare, or verify Google indexing.
Version 1.3.55 — Cleaner blog article cards (source release)
Simplified all eight blog listing cards to show the consistent label “Schema SEO · In-depth guide”, the article-specific title and description, and “Read article”. Removed internal word counts and approval/review status from cards. Article content, individual page URLs, Share Cards, editorial disclosure, production RSS (52 entries), production sitemap (79 URLs), and Coming Soon cards remain unchanged. No GitHub push or Cloudflare deployment was performed by this package.
Version 1.3.54 — Eight editorial articles approved for production (source release)
Reviewed and revised eight long-form structured-data analysis articles: replaced repeated boilerplate introductions and generic FAQs with topic-specific explanations, checked representative claims against official Google Search Central guidance, and removed prelaunch draft language. Publisher-requested release approval is recorded as AI-assisted review, without inventing a human author, reviewer or live publication date.
All eight article URLs are now indexable in production output and included in RSS and the production sitemap. Production RSS contains 52 items (16 tools, 27 guides, eight articles and changelog); the sitemap contains 79 indexable URLs. Development builds remain nonindexable. No GitHub push or Cloudflare deployment was performed by this source package.
Version 1.3.53 — RSS production links and release history
Updated the RSS feed to include all 16 live tool pages, 27 published practical guides and this changelog, using the correct production URLs at schema.qbmfx.com. Reviewed blog articles will appear when explicitly approved; the eight editorial drafts remain excluded from the public RSS feed, sitemap and indexing. Added production RSS URL, GUID and sitemap consistency checks. RSS is for content updates and resources, while the XML sitemap remains the complete list of indexable pages. Share Cards still share their own page URLs. No GitHub push or Cloudflare deployment was performed by this package.
Version 1.3.52 — Page-specific Share Cards
Every Share Card now shares the URL of its own page: blog articles share articles, guides share guides, tools share tools, and the homepage shares the homepage. WhatsApp and X use the current page title rather than a generic site slogan. Related-tool links remain ordinary navigation, not share targets. Tool result sharing still excludes private inputs. This is a source-only update, not a Cloudflare deployment.
Version 1.3.51 — Prelaunch CSV, hreflang, sharing and native Astro chrome
Normalized quoted US-thousands prices and lowercase currency codes in Product CSV and generator inputs, with clear errors for ambiguous formats. Validated hreflang language, script and region codes against bundled offline ISO/UN registries. Added tool-only sharing after successful results, related-tool promotion on blog articles (corrected in V1.3.52 to share the article itself), and four practical examples plus common mistakes to five indexable tool pages. Pinned Node 22.23.4 with .node-version and .nvmrc. Final shared header and footer are now native Astro components; route content still uses the legacy HTML bridge. Ads/CMP CSP remains Report-Only until real-domain compatibility testing. All Coming Soon cards and indexing rules are retained. No deployment performed by this build.
Version 1.3.50 — Narrow-screen header and Node runtime alignment
Fixed horizontal overflow on small phones by allowing header controls to wrap without hiding the Tools menu, language selector, theme toggle or Add to Home Screen button. Kept mobile navigation links accessible in their own horizontal row. Aligned the required Node.js version with Astro 7.4.4 (22.23.4 or newer), including local scripts and CI. No social links, SEO policy, PWA behavior, tools or Coming Soon cards were removed. No GitHub push or Cloudflare deployment for this release.
Version 1.3.49 — Mobile metadata and PWA install console review
Added the cross-browser mobile web app capability meta tag while preserving Apple standalone support. Kept the Add to Home Screen button, native install prompt when supported and platform-specific manual instructions. Chrome now controls its own install banner instead of the page suppressing it; this avoids the expected deferred-banner console message, though browser installation eligibility and prompts remain browser-controlled. Vite hot-reload WebSocket errors observed during local server interruption cleared after refresh and are not a deployed app bug. No GitHub push or deployment.
Version 1.3.48 — Three-column Guides and Blog directories
Expanded the Guides and Blog listing containers to the full content width and display three cards per row on desktop, two on tablets and one on phones. Card titles and descriptions wrap safely; guide/article reading pages and all existing tools, editorial status, SEO, FAQs and Coming Soon cards remain unchanged. Changes are not deployed.
Version 1.3.47 — Agency report, hreflang and currency fixes
Fixed advisory findings displaying undefined, restored readable report Before/After text, and changed print/PDF output to a report-only layout to avoid blank pages. hreflang XML now includes distinct x-default target URLs as sitemap entries with consistent self and return-link checks. Currency formatting preserves supplied decimal places. All changes remain local and unpublished; no GitHub push or Cloudflare deployment.
Version 1.3.46 — Light Mode contrast and readability fix
Corrected low-contrast text and controls when switching to Light Mode: upload labels and file inputs, error/warning/entity captions, empty states, help text, guides, editorial pages, footer links, disabled buttons, and tool workspaces. Standardized the light palette with legible teal/slate text and backgrounds. Dark Mode and original branded project/share/Coming Soon cards are unchanged. Preserved all 16 active tools, Clear buttons, guides, FAQs, structured data and client-report features. This update was tested locally; no GitHub push or Cloudflare deployment.
Version 1.3.45 — Phase 4A Group 2C: hreflang, value helpers and agency reports
Added three browser-local tools: hreflang Checker & Generator (HTML and XML output, single-page and supplied-page reciprocal checks), Date / Duration / Currency Helper (explicit timezone offsets, ISO 8601 duration and ISO 4217 currency validation), and Agency Report Generator (manual or imported findings, optional raster logo, Before/After notes, downloadable JSON and printable HTML/PDF via browser). Added three step-by-step guides, visible FAQs and matching FAQPage JSON-LD, bringing the site to 16 active tools and 27 guides. All tools retain Clear all fields & results. Updated tools directory, homepage, sitemap, AI-readable listings, service worker and local tests. No GitHub push or Cloudflare deployment.
Version 1.3.44 — Validator workflow and guide verification update
Added one-click Send generated XML to Validator and Send generated llms.txt to Validator buttons to the Sitemap and llms.txt tools. Transfers happen inside the current browser tab; no network request is made. Buttons remain disabled until valid content is generated and reset after Clear or generator input changes. Updated both step-by-step guides and added an automated audit checking the visible FAQs against their FAQPage JSON-LD across all 24 guides. Preserved the 13 active tools, Clear buttons, existing content, developer profile and Coming Soon cards. This release was tested locally and has not been pushed or deployed.
Version 1.3.43 — Phase 4A Group 2B: four SEO utilities and clear buttons
Added four browser-local tools: SERP Preview, robots.txt Tester, Sitemap Validator & Generator and llms.txt Generator & Validator. Each includes a dedicated step-by-step guide, visible FAQs and matching FAQPage JSON-LD. Added a clearly visible Clear all fields & results button to all 13 active tool pages, including previous tools. Guides directory now shows each active tool's exact name. Updated Tools menu, homepage, sitemap, service-worker cache, and AI-readable listings. Public sharing links use the configured production SITE_URL. No GitHub push or public deployment was performed.
Version 1.3.42 — Phase 4A Group 2A: four tools and complete tool guides
Added browser-local Microdata / simple RDFa and JSON-LD conversion, structural Schema Diff Checker, dated Google Property Coverage Scorecard and Meta / Open Graph / Twitter Card Checker and Generator. Added nine step-by-step guides covering all Phase 4A tools, with visible FAQs and matching FAQPage structured data; also added FAQs beneath the eight existing editorial guides and three legacy guides. Updated Tools menu, homepage, guide directory, sitemap and AI-readable tool listings. Preserved existing tools, owner help cards, developer photo and Coming Soon previews. No public deployment was performed.
Version 1.3.41 — Support card feedback invitation
Added a friendly, separate suggestion-and-feedback paragraph to every approved “Need help with a tool?” card across Home, FAQ, Guides, Blog, About, Contact and Tools. Existing support links, bug reporting, tool features, developer card and Coming Soon cards remain unchanged. No deployment was performed.
Version 1.3.40 — Phase 4A group 1: finder and graph improvements
Added dedicated JSON-LD Generator (11 types), CSV-to-JSON-LD bulk conversion with per-row ZIP reports, JSON-LD Formatter/Minifier/Sorter, Schema Type Finder and accessible @graph/@id Visualizer. New tools appear in the Tools menu, homepage and sitemaps, with temporary same-tab handoff to the existing checker. No server upload, account or deployment. Existing FAQ cards, developer photo and Coming Soon cards remain unchanged.
Version 1.3.38 — Phase 3 share-summary deep-link usability hotfix
Opening a private summary link now automatically scrolls to and focuses the read-only Shared Checker Summary panel, rather than leaving the visitor at the top of the homepage. The browser tab title identifies the shared summary. The URL still contains only counts and generic issue codes, never pasted markup, filenames or field values. This release also refreshes the offline app cache. No deployment performed.
Version 1.3.37 — Phase 3: Checker priorities and private summary links
Added Top 3 prioritized findings, keyboard-friendly issue navigation, and a code-only share link containing only counts and issue codes in the URL hash. Original markup, filenames, values and diagnostic messages are not serialized into the link; shared summaries are read-only and require a fresh check for verification. Corrected-code copy and download actions are enabled only when a safe fix actually changes the file. Existing browser-local checks, bulk reviewed ZIP, FAQ owner cards and Coming Soon cards remain intact. No deployment performed.
Version 1.3.36 — Phase 2: Google feature catalogue and freshness audit
Expanded the dated Google Search Central feature catalogue to 32 Schema.org entries and added an 11-item history of retirements and limited features, with official documentation URLs. Added a local-only freshness checker (npm run support:check) that reports stale or invalid verification dates. Book actions remain limited but not retired; Course list remains supported even though Course Info was retired. The FAQ retirement dates were cross-checked against the official Google changelog. New catalogue-only entries are not full Google field validators; Google rich-result eligibility is never guaranteed. No deployment performed.
Version 1.3.35 — Phase 1C: FAQ owner cards, security and maintenance
The FAQ now includes the Help, Share With Friends, Other Projects and developer-photo/profile sections, plus the preserved Coming Soon previews. Shared Astro layout boundaries, CSP rollout controls, dead-code cleanup and documentation organization improve maintainability. Production CSP enforcement with advertising remains gated pending real CMP/AdSense testing. No public deployment was performed.
Version 1.3.34 — Phase 1B: content and card placement
Kept the Help, Share with friends and Other Projects cards only on the homepage, Guides, Articles, About, Contact and future Tools pages. Removed the heavy promotional sections from Schema Explorer, type/property references, Support, legal pages and Changelog; kept the light site footer. Edge Extension and Microsoft Store Coming Soon cards remain unchanged on the allowed pages.
Added authored priority reference notes, conservative noindex, follow rules for thin reference pages, sitemap exclusions and production index-guard checks. Reworked the eight blog drafts into analysis-focused content distinct from step-by-step guides, with reciprocal links and no invented publication dates. Full official-vocabulary testing and human editorial approval remain pending.
Version 1.3.33 — Phase 1A: deployment and editorial safeguards
Ignored generated dist/ files in Git, added a production indexing guard, implemented human editorial review gates and made npm test self-contained. Local verification completed before this release; no public deployment was performed.
Version 1.3.32 — Astro Static migration
Migrated final HTML routing and production output to Astro static SSG. Astro prerenders the homepage, guides, blog and Schema.org reference pages with a compatibility bridge for the tested legacy content markup. Browser-only checker tools, official vocabulary, SEO metadata and Cloudflare Pages static assets remain supported. This release requires an Astro dependency install and a fresh full-vocabulary prelaunch audit before public deployment.
Version 1.3.31 — Full vocabulary missing-reference links
- Corrected Schema Explorer rendering of vocabulary references to classes or properties that have no locally generated reference page. Such references now open the official Schema.org term URL instead of a broken internal link.
- Applied this rule to parent properties, superseded properties, type domain/range lists and Distance property relationship tables. Added regression coverage for incomplete official RDF references.
- Improved failed audit diagnostics: the test and link scanner show up to 30 missing local URLs instead of reporting only a count. Official-vocabulary verification on the owner's Windows system is still required.
- Preserved production Auto Ads, regional privacy disclosures, search/AI crawler rules and existing content. No deployment performed.
Version 1.3.30 — Windows prelaunch path compatibility
- Fixed the Windows-only internal-link audit test that passed an encoded file URL pathname instead of a native filesystem path. Windows directories containing spaces now use proper file URL conversion.
- Corrected platform-specific directory boundary checks in the link audit scripts. Added regression coverage for directories containing spaces.
- Updated the prelaunch report filenames and documentation. No public deployment was performed.
Version 1.3.29 — Full-vocabulary verification fix
- Fixed the Schema Explorer automated test that incorrectly expected starter-only source wording after official Schema.org v30.1 vocabulary was installed. The test now verifies the appropriate source notice for the active vocabulary mode.
- Kept the official vocabulary updater, hierarchy pages, full internal-link audit, Auto Ads configuration, regional privacy disclosures and crawler access unchanged.
- Updated the pre-launch verification report filenames to V1.3.29. The owner must still verify the real official-vocabulary audit on Windows; no public deployment was performed.
Version 1.3.28 — Auto Ads, regional privacy and open crawler access
- Production builds include the Google Auto Ads loader by default on every page.
ADSENSE_AUTO_ADS=0is an optional emergency off switch; development previews do not request live ads. No fake ad placement cards were added. - Expanded privacy disclosures for EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland and applicable US states, with clear rights, opt-out, vendor, transfer and consent-management limitations. The owner must still configure Google-certified IAB TCF consent messages and US state messages in AdSense.
- Explicitly allowed Google, Bing, OpenAI search/training, Anthropic, Perplexity, Apple and other named crawlers in production robots.txt alongside a wildcard allow and both XML sitemap references. Kept preview noindex/disallow.
- Preserved canonical metadata, structured data, llms.txt, llms-full.txt and internal links for SEO/AEO/GEO discoverability. No indexing, citations, training use or AdSense approval is guaranteed.
- Added release-specific tests, an owner-confirmed Windows production-build script and setup instructions. No deployment performed.
Version 1.3.27 — Pre-launch audit and safety controls
- Added a repeatable pre-launch audit covering local HTML structure, link destinations, image alt text, embedded JSON-LD parsing, keyboard focus indicators, reduced-motion support, mobile/tablet CSS breakpoints and static asset sizes.
- Google Auto Ads now require explicit
ADSENSE_AUTO_ADS=1andADSENSE_CONSENT_READY=1build settings; public SEO configuration alone never turns on ad requests. These flags do not create or certify a CMP. - Prepared domain-specific production SEO checks for
https://schema.qbmfx.comand documented the remaining real-hosting, contact delivery, editorial, accessibility and consent checks. - Added an owner-runnable Windows verification script and a detailed audit report. Static checks and local build simulations are not a live PageSpeed score, real-device test, Google indexing result or AdSense approval.
- Nothing was deployed as part of this release.
Version 1.3.26 — Explorer search and type-card readability
- Entering DataTypes or Types in the explorer search now selects the corresponding category instead of returning zero results.
- Entering Properties moves keyboard focus to the separate property search field.
- Type cards now separate the type name and its parent hierarchy on distinct, clearly labeled lines; responsive layout and keyboard focus remain supported.
- All changes are local UI improvements; official Schema.org vocabulary, checker and prior Phase 3 functionality are preserved.
Version 1.3.25 — Phase 3 explorer completion and brand identity
- Completed the first-party Schema.org hierarchy explorer experience: searchable type/property directories, dedicated DataType filtering, parent/child paths, relationship counts, direct value-property references, official attribution and clear Google feature disclaimers.
- Introduced a distinctive original structured-data/checkmark logo in the header, favicon, installable app icons and social preview asset.
- Added a repeatable internal-link report script for total link occurrences, unique destinations, repeated occurrences, own-site HTML page routes, assets and broken targets.
- Updated technical SEO social image metadata for explicitly configured public builds, changelog and release tests. No public deployment, indexing, advertising approval or Google eligibility is implied.
Version 1.3.24 — DataType hierarchy consistency
Fixed an official-vocabulary merge issue that could hide intermediate parent types on DataType pages. The Distance reference now retains the complete DataType → Number → Quantity → Distance chain even after the full Schema.org vocabulary is installed. Added regression tests for the official-vocabulary path, with no changes to Google feature eligibility claims.
Version 1.3.23 — Stability fixes
- Strict calendar validation rejects impossible ISO dates in Event, JobPosting and VideoObject Google feature checks, including February 30 and invalid leap days.
- Single-file downloads use a corrected filename only when a recorded safe edit actually changes the source. Unchanged files keep their original contents and filename.
- Contact and privacy page wording now reflects the build environment and does not present development-only notices to public visitors.
- The offline service worker uses the current release version for cache invalidation, helping returning visitors receive updated resources.
- Added automated regression tests for dates, single-file review, contact copy and cache version. This release does not certify Google eligibility or public launch readiness.
Version 1.3.22 — Clearer release history
Updated this existing changelog with the latest features, dates, links to relevant tools and accurate limitations. Consolidated older entries into one chronological history instead of maintaining competing changelog definitions.
Version 1.3.21 — Schema hierarchy and technical SEO
- Show complete parent paths, including DataType → Number → Quantity → Distance, and separate paths for multiple inheritance.
- Improved internal links between Schema Explorer, types, properties, parent/child relationships and official sources.
- Expanded datatype explanations, practical JSON-LD examples and breadcrumb structured data.
- Added XML sitemap index and content/type/property sitemaps, robots.txt, ads.txt, short and extended AI-readable reference files, canonical metadata for public builds, and an accessible 404 page.
- Public-build safeguards require the official Schema.org vocabulary. SEO metadata and sitemaps do not guarantee indexing or ranking.
Version 1.3.20 — Header navigation
Placed the Checker link immediately before Google Status and Schema Explorer; kept the navigation labels on one line at desktop widths. FAQ remains available in the footer.
Version 1.3.19 — Navigation layout refinements
Removed redundant navigation labels and improved spacing for the Google Status and Schema Explorer links, with the existing tools and theme controls preserved.
Version 1.3.18 — Vocabulary update reliability
Improved the official Schema.org vocabulary updater with a persistent diagnostic console, a saved error log and an alternate official download source. Vocabulary installation is required for the full offline type/property reference.
Version 1.3.17 — Schema Hierarchy Explorer
Introduced searchable Schema.org type and property reference pages with internal navigation, inheritance information and a detailed Distance example. Explorer data depends on the installed official vocabulary.
Version 1.3.16 — Google feature checks and approved corrections
Added focused checks for Recipe, Event, JobPosting, VideoObject and SoftwareApplication. Introduced Preview suggested fix with before/after comparison and explicit approval before applying high-confidence spelling corrections. Missing facts are never invented.
Version 1.3.15 — Bulk review layout
Moved bulk file review closer to the main checker workflow, preserving file-by-file diagnostics, downloads and reporting.
Version 1.3.14 — Honest reviewed ZIP exports
Replaced misleading blanket “corrected” labels with a Download reviewed ZIP workflow. Archives distinguish truly edited files from unchanged files and include original copies where applicable, a review manifest and before/after reports.
Version 1.3.13 — Schema.org vocabulary checks
Added a pinned Schema.org v30.1 vocabulary downloader and advisory type, property, inheritance, domain and range checks. Google feature requirements are evaluated separately; the checker is not a complete semantic validator.
Versions 1.3.10–1.3.12 — Interface improvements
Expanded FAQ and language preferences, added ten interface language options and improved the theme toggle, navigation and Add to Home Screen experience. Technical explanations and reference articles remain in English.
Versions 1.3.2–1.3.9 — Checker and content expansion
Added file uploads, JSON-LD and HTML checks, ZIP batch processing, CSV and Markdown reports, safe correction previews, comparison views, guides, blog articles, RSS, privacy information and the project/developer sections. Clarified browser memory and archive safeguards while keeping the tool free with no login or daily quota.
Earlier versions — Core checker and Google status
Established JSON-LD syntax checking, HTML structured-data extraction, Product and BreadcrumbList checks, dated Google feature status, diagnostic explanations and report export. Optional Product fields are distinguished from Google requirements; retired features are not described as invalid Schema.org vocabulary.
Important notes
Schema.org vocabulary availability is different from Google Rich Results support. Always review corrections before using them on a live website. Search indexing, rich-result appearance, AdSense approval and search ranking are not guaranteed. Contact delivery, advertising consent and production-domain settings require verification before public launch.
