Try the live tool: Open Compare JSON-LD Before and After Changes →
What this tool does
Use the Schema Diff Checker to find added, removed and changed properties and export a structural comparison report.
1. Paste the original markup
Copy the original JSON-LD into the Before field.
2. Paste the proposed update
Copy the updated JSON-LD into the After field and click Compare.
3. Review every change
Inspect JSON Pointer paths and before/after values. Download the JSON report for an audit trail, then validate the proposed markup separately.
Practical example
Changing Product.name from Demo Laptop to Demo Laptop Pro produces one changed entry at /name.
Limits and responsible use
The diff compares parsed JSON structure, not JSON-LD graph semantics. Object key order is ignored, but array positions matter. The displayed report is capped at 400 changes.
Keep the original markup for comparison. Review facts against the real page, and use the dated Google feature catalogue or official Google Search Central documentation where relevant. A local check is not a search-ranking or rich-result guarantee.

Frequently asked questions
Answers are educational. FAQ markup does not guarantee Google FAQ rich results.
Does the diff ignore property order?
Yes. JSON object key order is not treated as a change.
Are array reorderings detected?
Yes. Arrays are compared by index, so reordering may appear as multiple changes.
Does no diff mean the markup is valid?
No. Identical JSON can still contain incorrect facts or unsupported Google properties.
