Try the live tool: Open Check and Generate SEO, Open Graph and Twitter Card Tags →
What this tool does
Inspect static HTML metadata and generate escaped title, description, canonical and social sharing tags from real page facts.
1. Check existing markup
Paste a page HTML document or head section. Click Check HTML tags to inspect title, meta description, canonical, Open Graph and Twitter/X tags.
2. Review missing and duplicate tags
Look for absent core metadata, duplicate entries and non-absolute social URLs. Character lengths are advisory, not strict Google limits.
3. Generate corrected tags
Enter a real title and description, and optional canonical URL, image and site name. Generate HTML tags, review them, then place them in the actual page head.
Practical example
A page titled Demo Store with a genuine description and canonical URL generates escaped title, description, og:title, og:description and twitter:card metadata.
Limits and responsible use
This tool inspects pasted static HTML. It does not fetch websites, render JavaScript, test social network caches or guarantee a particular search snippet.
Keep the original markup for comparison. Review facts against the real page, and use the dated Google feature catalogue or official Google Search Central documentation where relevant. A local check is not a search-ranking or rich-result guarantee.

Frequently asked questions
Answers are educational. FAQ markup does not guarantee Google FAQ rich results.
Does the checker fetch my live URL?
No. Paste the HTML locally; no remote page is fetched.
Is a 60-character title a Google requirement?
No. It is a common display heuristic, not a hard Google rule.
Does Open Graph metadata create Google rich results?
No. Social preview metadata and Google structured-data features serve different purposes.
